Excellent value for money. nice staff. basic rooms are tiny but clean and good. exec rooms superior. we will stay there again
Evening meal was 5 course and expensive (probably good value for money) there is a need to cater for those older persons who have smaler appetites and budgets
The staff were very kind and courteous during the stay. There was always a staff presence in the hotel should you have any problems.
The hotel was conveniently situated and the staff were very welcoming and courteous. The buffet breakfast was of a good quanity and quality.
The bathroom was too small - literally the width of a shower cubicle!
Very friendly and efficient staff, a lovely big room in a beautiful hotel. Swimming pool was nice and warm, and the gardens are gorgeous. Ideal for the older traveler.
Very small car park. Also they didn't have the fish & chips that I wanted for room service, and there were no chips with my club sandwich as advertised. It wasn't the end of the world though!
Very enjoyable stay, lovely grand suite room. Excellent leisure facilities. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
i found the hotel nice and relaxing, enjoyed the Jaccuzzi. The bar at night and the breakfast first class
Frie ndly and helpful sfaff, always willing to assist residents. Nice cosy sitting areas, evening entertainment also provided, although quite basic Enjoyed our stay with our eratives from America
Pool & jaccuzzi excellent even had it to ourselves on Saturday afternoon!! The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Hotel appears to have a high number of 'older' holiday makers, at 50 we were amongst the youngest there by many years!!
Hot water scalding.breakfast cold room far too warm.
Friendly staff, superb breakfast and nice pool. Would go back again.
Very good accessibility for disabled travellers. Staff most helpful and polite I've ever met - very thoughtful.
Other guests on 'cruise trip' - felt a bit surreal but not really a dislike. Just funny to arrive to naval welcome with bunting out and then to wake up and hotel all dressed up to pretend guests had arrived in Egypt! Actually very sweet really.
I liked the location, the excellent staff and the facilities.I had a problem with the cleanliness of the room. Nothing major, but the litter bin hadn't been emptied and the sink was grubby. I pointed this out to the receptionist who was incensed and explained that they had experienced problems with that particular room maid who was under a warning. I was offered an alternative room (which I declined, after all it wasn't exactly uninhabitable) and felt that the whole incident had been dealt with satisfactorily. An excellent hotel that puts its guests first and has service at the top of its list.
Limited parking - only about ten places
The staff were helpfull and friendly and the servicing of the rooms was exellent, especially the bed being made up without the quilts etc. being replaced after I had removed them (to hot for me), so as I did not have to do it all again.
We enjoyed being in a location that was so close to the shops, cafes and beach in the lovely seaside resort of Lytham. The staff were friendly and helpful whilst also allowing us the privacy that we needed.
